Ultrasonic washers

Our ultrasonic washers are available both as standard options or customized ultrasonic washing equipment, i.e. anything from small desktop models to built-in ultrasonic cabin washers, basket washing equipment, dip washers or cavitation washers.

By applying an ultrasonic swing during the processing stage, it is possible to utilise a phenomenon called cavitation. Cavitation is generated by placing a swing in the processing chamber, which creates a high frequency ultrasonic wave in the washing liquid consisting of millions of tiny micro-bubbles which are transported through the liquid, and as the bubbles explode against the item, cavitation takes place.

Cavitation mechanically affects the item’s surface, and, due to their tiny size, the micro-bubbles are able to penetrate very small or deep holes and uneven surfaces of the item and clean those areas.

Ultrasound works best in conjunction with some type of subsequent flushing or another form of removal of contaminants loosened by the micro-bubbles (cavitation).

The new line of KS machines allows the ultrasonic cleaning of small and medium-sized parts.
The KS ultrasonic parts washers are equipped with a powerful microprocessor combined with a dedicated software that allows you to independently adapt the best washing frequency based on the temperature and volume of the liquid and the volume of the parts to be washed.
A manual potentiometer has also been included in the KS16 model that allows the “sweep setting”, ie it allows you to superimpose an adjustable frequency modulation from 100 to 300 Hz to the washing frequency. This allows you to increase the washing performance by “breaking” the stationary waves that are created inside the tank.

BRANSON MODELS IN THE BRANSONIC SERIES
All Bransonic models are available for 220/240V, 50-60 Hz and correspond to Medical Electrical Equipment Standard 601 – 1 Class type B. Interference protection according to VDE 0871 / 6.78. EN-60335. CE marked.

Branson’s accessories increase productivity.
With the help of the accessories that are available for the baths, handling is facilitated. For applications where the details cannot be placed directly in the bath, there are, for example, glass cups in different sizes. In addition, there are special lids suitable for 1-6 cups, inserts, wire baskets and full-covering lids.

Functional execution
The models in Bransonic’s new generation have been produced using modern technology. Also in terms of design and ease of use, they are the best available. The synthetic material makes them resistant to chemicals. They are easy to handle and to refill. Because the panel is placed diagonally above the Bransonic model, it is extra easy to use. The three largest models are also equipped with drains with a practical quick-close connection.

Ultrasonic generator of 3 kW: SONOPOWER DIGITAL 3S

Efficient and stable processes that ensure consistent results are a prerequisite for becoming profitable and competitive in the cleaning and electroplating of industrial components. The ultrasonic generator SONOPOWER DIGITAL 3S is 3 kW easily meets these requirements.

This innovative plug-and-play device is fully digital and impresses not only with maximum process stability and high output, but also because it is so easy to use.

The Weber SONOSCAN intelligent control system can, for example, independently determine the optimal operating frequency and continuously adapts it to changing process parameters such as temperature or transducer changes. SONOPOWER DIGITAL 3S also detects the mains voltage automatically. The generator reacts to changes in the mains voltage, so that cleaning is always optimal.

Modular ultrasound generators with multiple frequencies: SONIC DIGITAL MULTI 40/80/120 kHz and SONIC DIGITAL TWIN 25/50 kHz

Multiple ultrasonic cleaning systems with different frequencies are often required to handle different cleaning tasks, such as coarse, fine and superfine cleaning, or a different spectrum of parts and/or materials. This requires greater investment and more storage space, but with Weber Ultrasonic’s multi-frequency digital ultrasound technology, this is no longer the case.

The modular SONIC DIGITAL MULTI generators can generate up to three frequencies in a single unit. Ultrasonic cleaning systems can therefore be made more compact and flexible, with maximum versatility and efficiency. The SONIC DIGITAL MULTI generators are available with three frequencies (40, 80 and 120 kHz) or two frequencies (25 and 50 kHz). They are used together with submersible SONOSUB® MULTI transducers with matching frequencies.

Since the frequencies are generated and controlled digitally, the output power can always be adjusted within the range of 10% to 100%. The modular SONIC DIGITAL MULTI generators are also equipped with a connectable interval function that ensures that the parts are treated appropriately regardless of the type of cleaning.

Modular ultrasound generators: SONIC DIGITAL MODULE

The most prominent features of the modular SONIC DIGITAL generators are their performance and reliability, which make them ideal for many different applications in cleaning and surface technology. Digital frequency generation and control, constant output and the interval function ensure efficient and accurate processing of the parts.

As the generator and control element can be physically separated, the power section can be placed in the control cabinet and users can operate the system from the control console or workplace, providing ideal ergonomics.

Premium versions come standard with encoders, performance and status LED displays and multi-function LCD displays. Detailed text displays provide easy and safe handling. An RS-485 interface is also available, so that the module generators can be run from a PC.

Ultrasonic generators for DIN rail: SONIC DIGITAL HS

The SONIC DIGITAL DIN rail generators are tailored to meet the requirements of ultrasound device manufacturers. Whether installing a new system or retrofitting an existing installation, they can be quickly and easily integrated into control cabinets with a single “click”.

With an output power of up to 2000 W, digital frequency generation and control, absolute constant output power and a range function, the SONIC DIGITAL HS is ideal for applications that require extremely precise audio focus.

The ability to place the power unit and control console in different locations is an additional advantage. These generators also offer maximum operational safety and are supplied as standard with protection against short circuit, no load and overload.

Rod-shaped ultrasonic transducers: SONOPUSH® MONO / SONOPUSH® MONO HD

The rod-shaped SONOPUSH® transducers are manufactured from a special titanium alloy and stand out for their long life, the extremely homogeneous sound field without noticeable interruptions or dips and the optimized work safety. This, together with the high output power, makes them the perfect choice for retrofits and when products from other manufacturers need to be replaced.

The rod-shaped SONOPUSH® MONO swivels are more powerful than double-headed swivels of the same length. The surface that emits sound is also larger. In combination with an efficiency of over 95%, this results in very good sound production.

The omnidirectional sound distribution creates a homogeneous sound field that ensures soft and efficient cleaning. The rod-shaped SONOPUSH® MONO swivels are ideal for use in closed cleaning units and multi-chamber units, as well as for retrofitting in containers and tanks.

SONOPUSH® MONO HD is a consequent further development of the SONOPUSH® series for the strictest requirements and the most demanding applications – even for continuous operation at temperatures up to 95 °C. With 20% higher output power and the same length of the jet and a vacuum and overpressure resistance of up to 10 bar, the heavy-duty construction provides shorter cleaning times and higher throughput at low cost.

The rod-shaped SONOPUSH® MONO HD transducers with 25 kHz output have also been shown to have incredible performance for loosening sewage sludge. A single sound generator provides excellent performance and maximum work safety. Compared to conventional rod-shaped transducers, the SONOPUSH® HD series provides 20% higher output power with the same beam length and guaranteed consistent omnidirectional sound distribution, and they have the same impressive performance in continuous operation at temperatures up to 95 °C.

Encapsulated ultrasound transducers: SONOSUB® / SONOSUB® MULTI

The submersible SONOSUB® and SONOSUB® MULTI swings combine robust construction with high efficiency and flexible connection options. They also have a laser-welded casing that exhibits extremely low distortion and high dimensional accuracy, giving the weld a significantly higher quality and strength. This extremely smooth and refined design also eliminates the risk of very small dirt particles getting stuck in the weld joints and leading to re-soiling of the components or contamination of the rinse tanks. The submersible SONOSUB® swings can be connected to the bottom and/or side wall of the cleaning system’s chamber.

Since each transducer element in the SONOSUB® MULTI can generate three frequencies, these multi-frequency transducers only need one set of transducer elements.

This means several physical advantages. Thanks to this design, SONOSUB® MULTI has the same output power as conventional multi-frequency submersible transducers, but it is significantly smaller and requires less power. An array of multi-frequency transducers also prevents the unwanted attenuation of ultrasonic output that can occur when multiple transducers are placed close together, as only one-third of the elements are used to generate ultrasonic energy at any one time.

Rod-shaped ultrasonic transducers for high temperatures: SONOPUSH® HD DOUBLE TWIN

SONOPUSH® HD DOUBLE TWIN is Weber Ultrasonic’s answer to the increased demands in industrial cleaning technology. Depending on the duration of use, these rod-shaped ultrasonic transducers can withstand temperatures of up to 120 °C. They therefore enable more efficient ultrasonic cleaning processes when high-boiling media, such as hydrocarbons, are used.

The rod-shaped SONOPUSH® MONO HD transducers from Weber Ultrasonics GmbH have always had impressive operational reliability. The temperature resistance of these powerful transducers has now been further improved with the SONOPUSH® HD DOUBLE TWIN model, which is internationally patented for this innovation.

In addition to the extremely high temperature resistance, the innovative rod-shaped swivels have even more advantages when used in industrial cleaning technology, ultrasonic chemistry and environmental technology such as sewage sludge loosening. Benefits include 20% higher output compared to conventional transducers of the same active length, consistent omnidirectional sound distribution and an efficiency of over 95%. These important advantages enable shorter treatment times and increased throughput, which contribute to lower costs. Another advantage is the product’s vacuum and pressure stability of up to 10 bar.

The ultrasonic transducer SONOPUSH® HD DOUBLE TWIN is manufactured from a special titanium alloy that ensures a long service life. The use of only one sound generator also contributes to the long life, as it minimizes the risk of liquid ingress. The special material used also gives the swingarm a smooth surface over almost its entire length, which prevents dirt from sticking to it. Thanks to the small format, the new strong rod-shaped swings are also ideal for retrofitting into existing systems and tanks. The ultrasonic generators from Weber Ultrasonics also help to ensure absolute protection against dry running.
