Basket washers
Our basket washing facilities are usually front-fed washing facilities adapted for different sizes of goods baskets.
The facilities can be equipped with an automatic basket handling system, basket rotation or rocking, general rinsing, flow-jet washing, ultrasonic washing, drying equipment, cooling equipment, etc.
The facilities can be built in one or more stages, alternatively several process stages in the same treatment chamber. Our facilities are equipped with an automatic lid protection function, which prevents goods from falling out of the basket if the lid is missing.
During the first rinse, the goods are washed while rotating or rocking, loose impurities and oils are then washed away. In flow-jet washing, the chamber is filled with washing liquid and flushing of the goods takes place below the liquid surface with 8 – 20 bar pressure, while continuous over-expansion of the washing liquid back to the storage tank takes place, which optimizes the washing away of oils, fats, dirt and other particles from the goods.
By equipping the facility with ultrasound, more washing steps and a vacuum dryer, very high cleanliness requirements can be achieved.
